Repetition Project

For the repetition project, I want to use this ad campaign by Dior for inspiration.  In the ad, Chinese people are repeated in photoshop and one model dressed differently stands out from amongst the crowd.  I want to use this sort of idea as inspiration.

Details

I have seen an exhibition of Edward Weston's photographs at the Amon Carter museum, in which dark, abstract, close-up pictures of vegetables were displayed. I want to use his photographs as inspiration for the details project.

I like this picture of an artichoke because it is completely abstract.

I like this picture of chard because because it looks like an organ.

I like this picture because of the lighting and shadows created by the contour of the pepper.

Fashion Ideas

I want to do a "Wizard of Oz," themed shoot to commemorate Summit's marching band show this year. It will have a dark edge to it, just as these photographs by Annie Liebovitz do.

Time Exposure Ideas

I like the symmetry and the way the light flares. Also this seems doable, and I hope to be able to emulate this in a photograph.

I also like the way the light flares in this picture, and I have a location that I may be able to use for this.

I love the movement of the stars in this picture, as well as the lighter colors created by the long exposure.

Inspiration for Architecture Project

These three pictures, by Rodney Smith, are my inspiration for the architecture project. I want my pictures to be black and white, which I believe accentuates architectural detail, and also to include people in a manner that adds rather than detracts from the image.
